Make Healthy Snacks for Our Children

Posted by H1T4M at 07:08

Many of us often give instant snack in the box on the little guy as a snack. In fact, there are many other more nutritious snacks for your child. Please see the guidelines here!
That said, the toddler can be likened to a race car: small, fast-paced and often must refuel. Rather like it because the stomach is relatively small toddlers up to the amount of food and nutrients obtained from the three main meals a day is relatively small. Then how they get all the nutrients needed for growth? They need a snack / snack is given several times a day. Through the provision of a planned snack, your child was getting the nutrients needed to grow properly.
Because snacks are needed to supplement the nutrients, you must be observant well as mothers choose a healthy snack, but still liked the kids. Keep your little snack contains at least two of these four food groups: fruits and vegetables, grains, milk and milk products, and meat or its successor. Here are some alternative nutritious snack that you can chose for the toddler:

• Biscuits crackers spread with cream cheese / peanut butter / tuna spread.
• Boiled Eggs
• Cheese Omelet
• Bread grilled cheese
• Waffles with strawberry sauce
• Pancakes with apple sauce
• Cereal with milk
• Yogurt
• Cheese
• Fresh fruit
• Fish sticks
• Chicken nuggets

Make Snacks So Attractive
Asked the toddler to spend the food you provide, sometimes not an easy task. So that they are interested in spending a snack, you can try the following ways:
• Involve Little
Toddlers are usually happy when you are involved or requested to assist. Encourage them to prepare their own snack. Usually they will be eager to try and spend their food. Ask them to wash the fruit to be eaten, smeared margarine to bread, arrange biscuits on a plate, stir the mixture of cereal and milk, etc..
• Dip into the sauce / jam
For children, activities dipping food into the sauce or butter and then eat it, as interesting as a brush dipped in paint, then rubbed on paper. Have them cut fresh fruit dipped in yogurt, or make waffles chopped into small pieces to dip in butter. It must be exciting!
• Small portions
For a relatively small stomach, prepare the appropriate portion. Moreover, the portions are too big it will make it lazy, even before starting. Usually portions for toddlers only a quarter or half an adult portion.
